So we took a little last minute impromptu trip to Red River, New Mexico. We met my Dad there with his new travel trailer. The weather was awesome! The highest temp we had was 70 degrees! A much needed break from the heat in TX!
We got to go see where the Red River and the Colorado River come together. That was pretty cool! And one day we rode the ski lift up to the top of the mountain. We could see so much! The mountains were beautiful. And that was the farthest up in the mountains that Adam had ever been so he was loving it! We stayed right on a stream with lots of ducks in it. Hannah loved that part. We fed them corn and bread every day. She wanted to pet one so bad but couldn't understand that they would bite her if she tried to touch them. We also heard bears every day up on the mountain side as well. It was an exhausting trip as well. And the water was stinky. Adam says it has a lot of minerals in it.
We enjoyed getting to spend some time with my Dad as well. It was good for him to take some time off of work and relax a little. And thankfully our time on the road wasn't too bad! Hannah did much better than expected!
Here are some pics from our little trip!

She didn't want to stand still for a pic...imagine that!
